    • Regularly clean the box a few times throughout the day, as cats prefer a tidy space.

    • DRY kitten food is offered 24/7 (free feeding).
    • WET kitten food is served 2-4 times a day. Since cats often don't drink enough water, this step is crucial.

    • Kittens benefit from bathing twice a month.
    • We use warm water in the kitchen sink and add 1/8 cup of bleach per gallon of water. 
    • Regular baths help prevent skin problems and eliminate parasites.

    • 1 Day after BATH. I used Advantage Flea Prevention after 4 months old (according to their weight). On the kitty's back between the shoulder blades. I personally use the smaller dose, as my cats are all INDOOR.

    • Fresh clean water should be available all day. 
    • I also offer evaporated milk a few times a day, providing extra calories, vitamins, protein, and calcium to support healthy teeth and hair. The fat in the milk helps with digestion, ensuring that hairballs pass smoothly in the stool, so they don't have to throw up hairballs. This aligns with my cat food recommendations for optimal health.

    • Plan to take a few days off.
    • Each kitten will be sent home with a blanket that smells like its momma and siblings.
    • Your kitten might not want to eat right away; just relax and keep loving on them, while offering food.
    • It's normal for the kitten to not use the restroom for what (seems like DAYS).
    • Continue to show love and gently place the kitten in the litter box.
