Time Frame?
While we can provide an estimated timeframe, breeding and litter availability are ultimately determined by nature. Wait times may vary depending on your preferences, including gender, color, and pattern. As a small, family-owned, TICA-registered Ragdoll cattery in Chalmette, Louisiana, we believe in allowing our adult ragdolls ample time to mature both physically and emotionally before entering our breeding program. Future queens are not bred until they are at least 18 months old, ensuring their health, well-being, and readiness for motherhood. As a small, in-home breeder, our focus is on QUALITY rather than quantity. We CAREFULLY plan each litter and prioritize the health, temperament, and socialization of every kitten we raise. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to provide exceptional Ragdoll companions for their future families. Please keep in mind, we are a small in-house breeder, and NOT a MASS PRODUCER.
Ragdoll Kitten Deposit
At Here Kitty Kitty Ragdolls, we take great care in placing our Ragdoll kittens with loving, committed forever families.
Once INDIVIDUAL kitten pictures are posted, at approximately 5-6 Weeks of age, I require a "GOOD INTENT" NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 to reserve your chosen ragdoll kitten until 12 weeks of age. We currently accept ONLY Zelle, (Friends/Family Option). NO checks, NO cash app.
- Deposit will be applied towards the total purchase price of ragdoll kitten. Remaining kitten balance is due at pickup.
- Do NOT send deposit without speaking with me, sending deposit automatically locks you into our purchase agreement contract.
- Once we have mutually agreed upon your kitten selection, the deposit must be received within 1 hour. If payment is not received within that timeframe, we will assume you are no longer interested, and the kitten may be offered to the next family on our waiting list. Pick of kitten goes in order of the waiting list, (FCFS method).
- If you choose to back out of your commitment, NO deposit will not be refunded. Non-Refundable deposits however are transferable up to 1 year from original received date, you must choose a ragdoll kitten within that year, from a different litter, and please note that kitten pricing may change for future litters.
- In the rare event that an unforeseen circumstance affects the kitten while in our care and the kitten is no longer available, your deposit will be refunded in full.
- Once a kitten is placed on HOLD for you, we do not allow changes. This policy ensues no kitten misses out on their forever home.

How much do kittens cost?
At Here Kitty Kitty Ragdolls, our Ragdoll parents and kittens are registered with TICA (The International Cat Association). We specialize in raising traditional Ragdoll kittens with beautiful blue eyes, loving personalities, and exceptional temperaments.
- Ragdoll kittens are born completely white, and their true color and pattern begin developing as they mature. Around 5–6 weeks of age, each kitten is carefully evaluated for its developing color, pattern, and overall qualities. Our kittens display the beautiful traditional Ragdoll characteristics that make this breed so loved by families around the world.
- PET KITTENS:
Our available Ragdoll kittens for sale are sold strictly as pet kittens only and are placed without breeding rights. Registration paperwork will be withheld until proof of altering (spay/neuter) is provided and verified. Our goal is to ensure each kitten is placed into a loving forever home where they can be cherished as a companion. Our pet kitten pricing starts at $2,500 and up, depending on the litter, availability, and individual kitten.
- We believe in transparency and stand behind the value of our kittens. Our pricing is firm and non-negotiable and is not based on gender, markings, or whether a family chooses to register their pet. We do not reduce the value of our kittens based on phrases such as “I only want a pet” or “I do not need registration paperwork.” Every kitten receives the same level of love, care, socialization, veterinary attention, and commitment from the moment they are born.
Our pricing reflects the time, dedication, and expenses involved in responsibly raising healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kittens. This includes daily care, quality nutrition, litter, supplies, toys, enrichment, veterinary care, maintaining a clean environment, replacing cat furniture, and providing proper care for our adult cats and kittens.
Like many small breeders, our expenses have increased significantly over the years. Every breeder’s costs are different, and our pricing is adjusted to reflect the real investment required to maintain a healthy, loving breeding program.
Prices are subject to change on any Ragdoll kitten that has not been reserved. Once a kitten is reserved, the agreed-upon price will remain in effect.

When can i pick up kitten?
At Here Kitty Kitty Ragdolls, our main goal is to make the transition from our home to yours as smooth and comfortable as possible. We take great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kittens that are prepared emotionally, physically, and socially for their new families.
Every kitten develops at their own pace, and we carefully evaluate each individual kitten before determining when they are ready to leave our care. Each litter is unique, and our priority is never to rush the process. Kittens must reach important developmental milestones before beginning their next chapter.
Why Our Ragdoll Kittens Stay Until 12 Weeks
The additional time with their mother and littermates is extremely valuable for a kitten’s development. During this important stage, kittens continue building:
- Social skills through sibling interaction
- Confidence and independence
- Stronger immune systems
- Proper play behaviors and communication skills
- Comfort with everyday household experiences
- Exposure to children and normal household sounds
Our Ragdoll kittens in Louisiana are raised in a loving home environment where they receive daily attention, handling, and socialization to help them become affectionate, confident companions.
Kitten Readiness at Pickup
Ragdoll kittens will typically be ready to go home at 12 weeks of age. Some kittens may need additional time to mature, and this will be determined at the breeder’s discretion based on the kitten’s individual development.
Before leaving Here Kitty Kitty Ragdolls, kittens will:
- Will be litter box trained.
- Be eating solid kitten food
- Weigh approximately 3 pounds or more
- Have received age-appropriate vaccinations
- Be developing into confident, healthy companions
Pickup Schedule & Appointments
Kitten pickup is available Monday–Thursday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM only.
Within days of your kitten’s birth, we will provide a firm pickup week so families have approximately three months to make arrangements. Because we are a small, in-home Ragdoll cattery, we do not operate like a retail store with open business hours. Pickup times are scheduled appointments reserved specifically for your family.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are running late, you may be required to wait until we are available, as we have other responsibilities, appointments, and commitments. We greatly appreciate your respect for our time and schedule.
Additional time after the scheduled pickup date is not available without applicable boarding fees.
Preparing for Your New Ragdoll Kitten
We strongly recommend scheduling a 48-hour veterinary wellness check after bringing your new kitten home. This allows your veterinarian to establish care and ensure your kitten is adjusting well.
We also encourage families to plan a few days at home, if possible, to provide uninterrupted time for bonding, comfort, and helping your new Ragdoll kitten transition into their forever home.

Where to pick up / Shipping?
At Here Kitty Kitty Ragdolls, we want bringing your new Ragdoll kitten home to be as convenient and stress-free as possible. We understand that families travel from different locations to welcome their new kitten, and we offer several pickup options to help make the process easier.
- Local Pickup & Meet-Up Location
Our primary meet-up location for many families is:
Sidney Torres Memorial Park
This location provides a convenient meeting point for families traveling from surrounding areas while allowing us to safely and efficiently complete kitten handoffs.
- Travel Assistance Option
We frequently travel to meet families in areas including:
- Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Biloxi, Mississippi
- Surrounding towns and communities along our travel routes
While we cannot always accommodate every location, our scheduled trips may help families save additional travel time and make pickup more convenient.
To help offset increasing travel expenses, a travel assistance convenience fee of $0.60 per mile (one way) may apply for arranged meet-up locations outside our normal pickup area.

Airport Pickup – New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
For families traveling by air to pick up their Ragdoll kitten, we can arrange meet-ups at:

Families flying in must:
- Bring a TSA-approved airline cat carrier
- Confirm airline requirements, reservations, and applicable pet fees directly with the airline
- Coordinate flight times within our available airport meeting window whenever possible
Our preferred airport meet-up availability is:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
If your flight cannot be scheduled within this timeframe, we may be able to arrange an alternative meeting time for an additional $50 convenience fee.
Payment Due at Pickup
The remaining kitten balance is due at the time of pickup. The exact remaining balance must be paid in cash at pickup.
Shipping Information
Cargo shipping is not included in the kitten purchase price. If shipping is needed, all shipping costs and additional requirements will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Additional shipping-related expenses may include transportation arrangements, required documentation, airline fees, and other travel-related costs. Please refer to our Health Guarantee and Shipping Information for additional details.

Vaccinatsions / Worning
- All kittens will receive age-appropriate vaccines. You will receive documents with all medical treatments, be sure to share with your licensed veterinarian.
- We do NOT vaccinate against FIP, FeLV or FIP. Ragdolls are sensitive to these vaccines.
- NEVER GIVE YOUR RAGDOLL CAT/KITTEN MORE THEN ONE VACCINE AT A TIME.
- *Never give rabies shot with distemper shot.
VISIT & TOUCH
We are NOT a store/facility/petting zoo, we are a CLOSED cattery.
Please keep in mind this is my home; my TOP priority is the health and safety of my children/cats. *I am well aware of the "INTERNET BLOGGERS" that advocate for visiting the breeder and the kitten. The problem with these sites is their priority is the buyer and not the health of the kittens. What about the Kittens' Immune system / infectious diseases / airborne viruses / covid, or the UNKOWN dangers of inviting strangers into your home, who may or may not have good intentions, unfortunately breeders have been robbed and harmed. We previously allowed in home visitors when we used to bred Westies, but sadly all good things must come to an end. Families would come to visit and bring the whole extended family, while others would have their small children running around my home chasing after my Westies.
My days and weekends are very busy with three school age children. My off days are reserved for my responsibilities and other commitments. I simply can't ACCOMMODATE the numerous of daily request to come visit and stay 2 plus hours, seeing what kitten is drawn to you.
- I’m available FACETIME with a scheduled appointment, I SHARE weekly, if not daily updated picture and videos.
I UNDESTAND MY POLICY MAY NOT SUIT EVERYONE, I ENCOURAGE FAMILIES TO SEEK OUT FULL-TIME BREEDERS WHOSE PROGRAM ALIGNS BEST WITH THEIR EXPECTATIONS AND COMFORT LEVEL.
BOARDING FEES
We carefully plan our kitten schedules to ensure every Ragdoll kitten receives the proper care, attention, and preparation before joining their new family.
Because we are a small, in-home TICA-registered Ragdoll cattery, we have limited availability and carefully coordinate kitten care, veterinary appointments, feeding schedules, and future placements.
Pickup Date Requirement
Your scheduled pickup date is an important commitment. Families are provided with advance notice of the expected pickup timeframe, so they have adequate time to make arrangements.
Kittens will not be held beyond 12 weeks of age without prior approval and applicable boarding fees. If a kitten remains in our care past the agreed pickup date, a $25 daily boarding fee will apply for each additional day.
Missed Pickup Dates
If a kitten is not picked up as scheduled and arrangements have not been approved in advance, the deposit and any payments made may be forfeited, and the kitten may be made available to another approved family.
This policy exists because extended stays create additional expenses and scheduling challenges, including:
- Additional food and care costs
- Additional litter and household supplies
- Continued daily care and supervision
- Additional veterinary-related expenses when applicable
- Time spent communicating, scheduling, and coordinating care
- The possibility of needing to restart the placement process

Our goal is to place every healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kitten into a prepared and committed forever home. A reserved kitten represents a commitment between our cattery and your family, and we appreciate families honoring their scheduled pickup arrangements.
We understand that unexpected situations can happen, and we encourage families to communicate with us as soon as possible if an issue arises. We will always do our best to work with families when reasonable notice is provided.
